Cialis
Cialis (tadalafil) is a popularly prescribed anti-impotence medication intended for men that experience temporary or constant problems getting and maintaining an erection. This drug provides for the longest period of efficiency – up to 36 hours. This period may be different for different people and depend on their general health condition, age etc. Therefore it’s best to have sex soon after taking your dose of Cialis. Make sure you never use this drug more often than every 24 hours. An overdose of Cialis can produce the following symptoms: chest pain, headache, heartburn, indigestion, stuffy or runny nose, erection that lasts longer than 4 hours, pain in the back, and flushing. It is supposed to be reported to your health care provider or your local emergency center. Never combine Cialis with nitroprusside, nitrates, certain alpha-blocker medications, or recreational drugs that contain nitrates, as a sudden drop in blood pressure is possible. This condition can lead to stroke, fainting and even death and is therefore important to avoid. This medicine has been reported to cause dizziness among other side effects. Make sure you know exactly how your body reacts to Cialis and avoid taking part in activities that require maximum alertness and concentration. Other mild side effects that are also possible can include any of the following: diarrhea, back pain, warmth or redness in your face, neck, or chest, upset stomach, muscle pain, sore throat, stuffy nose, memory problems, and headache. The mild side effects mentioned do not need to be reported to anyone unless you feel they change in intensity and get bothersome. As for the serious side effects of Cialis – they are possible too, although quite rare. The following serious side effects can be dangerous and your doctor needs to be notified of them: seizure, irregular heartbeat, general ill feeling, priapism, fainting, sweating, swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet, shortness of breath, sudden hearing loss, vision changes, light-headedness, chest pain, and sudden vision loss. Report the fact of taking phenytoin, rifabutin, danazol, cimetidine, clarithromycin, erythromycin, medications for high blood pressure, cyclosporine, fluoxetine, other erectile dysfunction medications, zafirlukast, verapamil, troleandomycin, delavirdine, amiodarone, dexamethasone, phenobarbital, aprepitant, sertraline, certain antifungals, ethosuximide, efavirenz, diltiazem, fluvoxamine, or HIV protease inhibitors to your doctor before starting the treatment.
